Nihon Matsuri Festival

April 28th is the Nihon Matsuri Festival in Salt Lake City and I finally got a chance to go! I had soooooooooooo much fun! I wish I could have been there the whole day. I went with some close friends and ran around. 

There were also a lot of cosplayers which I wasn't expecting because it's Utah. I will tell someone that I like anime and they almost always say, "What's anime???" Anyways it was fun to take pictures with the cosplayers.

There was a ton of food! But most of it was the same stuff and surprisingly there wasn't a sushi bar. That was a little disappointing but they made up for it with onigiri and an amazing nikuman. Yum!





 There was a little Buddhist temple there that was really pretty. I saw a some of the cutest Japanese kids all dressed up in kimonos. I wanted to take them home with me and put them on a shelf. 

I also bought a few fun trinkets and a sailor moon poster to add to my wall. My friends and I had a blast and I can't wait till next year!
